Silent films and Music @ Cinema Massimo
The National Museum of Cinema in Turin and the Strade del Cinema Cultural Association have been working for years on the soundtracks of silent films. On April 27th, some recent restoration works by the Museum will be scored live by Phi 4 and the pupils of the Calvino School in Turin.

Tribute to I Soliti Ignoti by Mario Monicelli
On April 23rd and 24th, Strade del Cinema in collaboration with Aosta Classica and the Musical Institute of the Aosta Valley will present to the pupils of the Aosta Valley Schools the Tribute to 'I Soliti Ignoti' by Mario Monicelli, created for the film's 50th anniversary.

The Strade del Cinema International Silent Film Festival will take place at the Aosta Roman Theatre from August 6th to August 13th and will be dedicated to Charlie Chaplin.
The festival is organized by the Strade del Cinema Cultural Association and the City of Aosta.
First contest entirely dedicated to young musicians that wish to score silent films, the Young European Musicians Contest, organized in partnership with the Turin National Museum of Cinema, has always been the core of the International Silent Film Festival with Live Music Strade del Cinema.
Organized in partnership with the GAI office of the City of Aosta, the SilentARTmovies Contest offers to young italian artists or foreigners living in Italy the opportunity to express an original point of view on Silent Cinema.
